Angelique is a registered Psychologist and Teacher who completed her Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology from Queensland University of Technology, with a research thesis on identifying and working with students’ strengths to enhance academic achievement. Angelique is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency, the Queensland Guidance Counsellor Association and the Queensland College of Teachers.
Angelique has experience working with children and teens with a wide range of presentations, such as enhancing resilience and self-esteem. She has particular interests in childhood anxiety, developmental disorders, ADHD and identifying children’s learning styles and strengths. Angelique has experience designing and implementing creative social skills programs within both therapeutic and educational environments. She has also worked with children who have experienced trauma and supporting children through multiple residential placements. Her philosophy is to identify and build on individual strengths and capabilities to enhance emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes.
Angelique will work with you and individually tailor interventions to suit your needs. With over 14 years experience working exclusively with children, Angelique can provide extensive assessments and implement a wide range of therapeutic techniques. Angelique also has experience and knowledge of criteria and educational funding requirements across state and catholic schools in Queensland.
Angelique is a mother of two children who enjoys going to the beach and practising mindfulness.
