Emma-Grace Armitage completed a Bachelor degree and Graduate Diploma in Behavioural Science at the Queensland University of Technology. She is also completing a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) at the Queensland University of Technology.
Across the course of her studies, Emma completed a 6-month placement working in a Guidance Counsellor role across two private primary schools in Brisbane. During this time Emma worked with students, teachers, and parents to provide a range of support services, including assessment and counselling.
Emma also completed a 6-month placement at the Child Development Program at the Lady Cilento Children’s hospital, working with families, schools, and professionals to understand the needs of children and young people who are experiencing developmental concerns.
Emma has a strong passion for working with children and families’. Her key areas of interest are early parenting, attachment relationships, emotional well-being, development, learning, and behaviour.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with her two dogs, training at Cross Fit, and painting. Emma also loves eating food and travelling the world.
