Hailey is a fully registered psychologist with a particular talent for working with children and adolescents.
Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Hailey completed her studies at Griffith and Bond Universities, after which time she worked as a Child Safety Officer for more than 6 years before moving to country Victoria to work in the field of paediatric psychology.
After working in the Child Protection field on the Gold Coast, Hailey developed a reputation in country Victoria for specialising in trauma and attachment however she also works with families on a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, parental separation, bullying, behavioural issues, anger management, selective mutism, ADHD, mild autism, and self-harm. Hailey can also prepare a full Psychometric assessment on the cognitive, behavioural or adaptive functioning of her clients.
Hailey uses an eclectic approach, adapting the intervention to meet the individual circumstances of both the child and family. She also has a natural, intuitive ability to build a strong connection with children and young people, even the ones that are initially reluctant to attend.
Having recently relocated back to South East Queensland, Hailey is interested in pursuing her passion in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy… so watch this space!!
In her free time, she enjoys international travel, pursuing her passion of aviation, as well as anything equestrian including show jumping and casual riding.
Hailey holds a General Registration and is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and would welcome the opportunity to work with you and your family.
