Kate Szymanski graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Queensland, and is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
Prior to her studies, Kate worked in various roles across early childhood education and spent years as a learn to swim instructor, before moving to private practice where she worked as a therapy assistant while completing her studies.
Kate is dedicated to delivering personalised high quality, evidence-based therapy services to clients across the lifespan, and delights in creating a fun and motivating environment for all her clients. Kate is passionate about providing services across a broad range of clinical areas including early speech, language, and literacy development, and supporting children and adults with complex communication and swallowing needs. Kate enjoys working collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals such as occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators, to support her clients in becoming effective communicators.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys reading a good book, long weekend getaways to Moreton, Fraser, or Stradbroke Island, and spending quality time with her family back in her home town of Goondiwindi.
