The Digital Healthcare Design group brings together architects, engineers, systems designers, clinicians and health IT specialists to look at how we design the hospital of the future to meet the social and economic challenges facing healthcare in next 30 years. In particular, we are interested in investigating at the interface between the built environment and information technology, investigating how we can better design the physical environment in concert with the information infrastructure to deliver on the objectives of cost effective, high quality, patient centred care.
