About me
I'm originally trained as an Occupational Therapist and Educator, but my passion for the enabling powers of technology have seen me pursuing a sideline career in ICT, bringing my health sector knowledge and experience and mixing it with strong ICT skills. As an OT, I have experience in Mental Health, Occupational Rehabilitation, integrated primary care and driver assessment.
I'm an experienced consultant and versatilist with sound experience in business transformation activities, small and large technology implementations, change management, and embedding people focused approaches to the use of information technology. My areas of IT expertise span the development and control of Internet technologies (Intranet/ Internet development, content management, security needs analysis, Social media ecosystems), ERP systems, and enterprise level knowledge management and service delivery systems (including Health service delivery systems). I have a strong focus on ensuring business needs are addressed with appropriate systems, ensuring IT is governed effectively, and supported by an enterprise knowledge management approach.
