Tania completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic)/Masters in Clinical Chiropractic with Distinction at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University in 2011 and was awarded the RMIT/Chiropractic Association (CAA) Clinical Excellence Bundoora Chiropractic clinic award in her final year.
Prior to completing her chiropractic qualification, she completed a Bachelor of Science in2005 at La Trobe University majoring in Genetics. Tania practiced in Melbourne before relocating with her family to Queensland, where she took a position at Spine Tuning Chiropractic in 2012.
Tania sees chiropractic care as vital in influencing the muscular, joint and nervous system as they provide the building blocks to health. Tania uses a variety of techniques to treat both spinal and peripheral joint conditions including Diversified Manual, Thompson Drop-piece (Specialised table), Activator (Hand-held Instrument), Sacro-occipital Technique and Cranial Therapy.
Tania is continuing her professional development through further postgraduate studies in pregnancy, paediatrics, children and adolescents and completed the Diplomat in Clinical Chiropractic Paediatrics (DICCP) in 2015, through the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and International College of Chiropractic Paediatrics (USA). She has also completed SEAS (Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis) training and accreditation.
She believes that health is a balance between physical, mental and nutritional wellbeing for all the family from new born babies through to the elderly and believes in a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
Toneya is currently available for appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
