Chloe — Psychologist
Chloe completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) at the Queensland University of Technology and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the Australian Catholic University. She is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and will soon be undertaking the clinical registrar program. Chloe is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Over the course of her training, she has gained experience working with adults, adolescents and children with a range of emotional and psychological concerns. She has practiced across various settings including hospitals, correctional and community centres, private clinics and educational facilities.
Chloe believes in a compassionate, honest and eclectic approach to therapy in order to improve clients’ well being and to support them in leading emotionally fulfilling lives. She acknowledges it can take great courage to attend therapy and values equality, trust and transparency within the therapeutic relationship.
Chloe currently has particular interest in working with adolescent and adult populations experiencing a range of interpersonal, emotional and psychological concerns. Her therapeutic style draws from an integration of various evidence-based interventions so as to suit each client’s individual needs. These include primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Mentalisation Based Therapy and Motivational Therapies.
In her spare time Chloe enjoys cooking (and dancing simultaneously), gardening and life drawing.
