GROUPS

GROSS & FINE MOTOR

This group is designed to work the core body – Torso, Legs & Arms by engaging the Large Muscles and the neurological system and focus on training the small muscles in hands, fingers and wrists to improve control and strength to perform everyday tasks better.

ART THERAPY

With the use of various art materials our Art Therapy Group will create several beautiful works of art that show off each individuals unique ideas and creativity.

SOCIAL SKILLS / EMOTIONAL REGULATION GAMES

Our FUN games based Social Skills Group will provide essential practice of social and emotional regulation and behaviour in a supportive environment.

GARDENING

This group will use the skill and enjoyment of gardening to promote movement and coordination, social skills, and positive mental health. The body movements required in gardening also allow for fine and gross motor skill development.

ANIMAL CARE

The Health Hub Belmont has a farm-like environment where we care for various animals on-site.

DIY WORKSHOP

Our unique clinic location of Belmont allows us to break free of traditional therapy!
Keep your hands and minds busy with a DIY Workshop.

MUMS N BUBS

Our Mums and Bubs Group is designed to provide therapy based information, technique demonstration and hands on assistance for mothers and carers of babies 0-2.

COOKING WITH CHEWY, CHINO & THE HEALTH HUB ANIMALS

This holiday program will incorporate some farm-like cooking and interactive animal visits. 

MINECRAFT

An Opportunity For Pre-Teens To Develop Fine Motor & Social Skills Required For Independent Self-Care – Through Minecraft Inspired Group Activities.

RAMSR

This program aims to help young children manage self-regulation of their emotions, attention and behaviour by using rhythm and music.

BEAUTY, FASHION & STYLE

Utilize Positive, Supportive Self-Talk and build Self-Esteem and Confidence – while be engaged in beauty, fashion and style.

TRANSFORMING FAMILIES

 A comprehensive Group Program to support and guide Teens aged 13-17 and their Families in LGBTIQA+.

TWIST & SHOUT - PAEDIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPY

Breathing while being active can be tricky and it is an important skill for children to learn so they can participate wholly in activities like play & sport. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR PLAYGROUND PARTICIPATION

This group will touch on paediatric physiotherapy areas of – sensory challenges, increasing coordination & balance.

Drum Therapy can be an outlet for emotional blockages, it provides the ability to experience flow & release of emotion and assist with connection to self and others.

This group is aimed at supporting teenagers with improving self-esteem, discovering their self-identity and learning how to be content with themselves.

MINDFULNESS

This group has a focus on learning and practicing a variety of mindfulness activities to
support emotional regulation.

YOGA THERAPY

Instructed by a Qualified Psychologist & Yoga Teacher/Therapist
3 Streams of Yoga – Down Regulating for Anxiety & Stress, Up Regulating for Depression, Mind & Body for Emotional Wellbeing.

ROCK & WATER

Rock and Water is a physical activity-based program aimed to support teenagers with managing conflict, anger, bullying and social interactions.

FLOW ARTS

Flow arts improves body awareness and connection improves bilateral motor skills and coordination, improves mindfulness and focus reduces stress, cultivates patience and persistence, and fosters creativity.

SIBLING UNITY

This group has a focus on learning and practicing a variety of mindfulness activities to
support emotional regulation.

ALL ABOUT BOYS

Boys will be boys! This group will respect his individuality, encourage diverse interests, look at role models and allow boys to be boys.

D.I.Y YOGA MAT

This activity is done by painting your own yoga mat. During the session, you will be provided with a yoga mat, introduction to the purpose of the session, with things you may like to consider while
painting and how you may choose to be mindful in the process.

ZONES OF REGULATION

This is a half-day activity-based
family session supporting families to explore the zones and form an understanding of activities or things which will shift their zones.
