Kylie — Psychologist
Kylie completed her Bachelor Degree of Applied Science of Psychology at RMIT in Melbourne. She then relocated back to Queensland to complete her Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science at Bond University on the Gold Coast, and Master of Professional Psychology Degree at the University of Southern Queensland.
Kylie is a fully registered psychologist with experience working with people across the lifespan within a range of settings including universities, community outreach, QLD Health specialist services and private practice. Kylie has been working with adolescents and adult clients with a variety of concerns including:
- Anxiety / Depression / Mood Disorders
- Trauma & EMDR therapy
- LGBTIQA+ communities
- Adult ADHD and ASD
- Schizophrenia and psychosis
- Social skills training
- School-related issues (including friendship)
- Skills building for parents and teachers
Kylie also has experience in cognitive, developmental, and educational assessments of children, adolescents and adults.
In her spare time, Kylie enjoys hiking through rainforests, travelling, cooking and playing with her dog (Fletcher) and cat (Lucy).
Fun fact! Kylie has lived in 10 cities including Lae (Papua New Guinea), Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Limerick (Ireland), Uxbridge (UK), Bisley (UK), Belfast (UK), Paris (France), and Whistler (Canada). Throughout her travels, she has always called Brisbane home and is happily settled in her home town.
