Sammy graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from The University of Queensland, and is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
Sammy can speak both English and Mandarin Chinese, and has worked with families from different cultural backgrounds.
While completing her studies, Sammy worked as a therapy assistant delivering therapy services in clients’ homes. She has experience working with both adults and children in various therapy settings, including private practice, hospital, mental health service, and schools.
Sammy enjoys engaging with individuals of all ages, and is passionate about providing services across all areas of speech pathology practice. Sammy believes in a collaborative approach to therapy, and is passionate about working closely with each individual, their family, and their support network. Sammy strives to lead each and every individual to realise their full potential, achieve their goals, and improve their quality of life.
When Sammy isn’t in the clinic, you’ll often find her indulging in an array of dessert. She also enjoys sharing food with her family and friends. If it wasn’t for her love for speech pathology, she would be a full-time traveller, ticking every dream destination off her never-ending bucket list.
