Ruth graduated from Curtin University of Technology (Perth) with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. She is a certified practicing speech pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
Ruth has worked extensively with children and adults with complex communication needs. Her areas of interest include early intervention, Assistive and Augmentative Communication (AAC), Autism and feeding/meal times.
Over the course of her career Ruth has worked for several large organisations. She has presented numerous staff, parent and professional trainings. She is passionate about educating/coaching others and considers this to be an important element in therapy. Since moving to Brisbane in 2017, Ruth has flown across regional Queensland and travelled around Brisbane, providing school advisory visits to primary and high school aged students who are verified. She has also been involved in developing and running group programs for adults and teens on the autism spectrum.

Ruth is a huge theme park and Disney fan. She enjoys musicals, shopping and organising. In her spare time, Ruth can be found taking ballet lessons and hosting dinner parties.
Ruth is available from Wednesday-Friday based mainly at our Wynnum Clinic.
