Adrienne — NDIS Approved Positive Behaviour Support
Adrienne is a registered full member of the Developmental Educators of Australia Inc (DEAI) and a Developmental Educator. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Graduate Diploma (Occupational Health and Safety) from Queensland University of Technology.
Adrienne’s passion is creating positive environments for individuals to thrive using a person centred or family centred approach. She is a Positive Behaviour Support Specialist who provides practical and safe strategies based on individual needs, undertaking developmental and behavioural assessments, and then developing positive behaviour support plans and individual support plans.
Adrienne’s experience includes working with people with a disability or developmental delay, their families and carers, from birth to 65 across settings. As a Developmental Educator she actively seeks to increase an individual’s independence through learning functional life skills, promoting emotional health and well-being and supports to transition between life stages. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and extended family and getting out and about with friends. Having recently attained her boat license on the weekends she is enjoying learning to navigate the bay.
